As a licensed commercial real estate advisor, with focus on all aspects of leasing, investor/buyer representation, and consulting, Julie leverages her years in commercial real estate, retail business ownership, and partnership with the KW Commercial utilizing time-proven processes, to her clients’ advantage.  Beginning her career in commercial real estate in 1999 at The Staubach Company, Julie’s experience includes operations, leasing/tenant representation, and brokerage in office, retail, and industrial. 

Ms. Smith’s association with KW Commercial provides to her clients more than forty years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin markets, and include a wide variety of property, business, and transaction types.  Each transaction has its own uniqueness’s and challenges; the depth and breadth of the KW Commercial is a tremendous leverage for their clients.

Julie’s entrepreneurial approach to business brings creativity to negotiations.  After several years of retail management with a real estate investment firm, Julie negotiated the management buy-out of, and master lease to relocate, a boutique retail-leasing concept, including the planning and overseeing the full finish-out of the shell space.  Ms. Smith’s vision for the favorite local shopping destination acquired recognition 2 years in a row as “Best Boutique in Plano.”

As a native Texan living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since early childhood, Julie is well acquainted with the local landscape.  Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, attending Broadway musicals, and going to University of Texas games in Austin with her husband.
