Mr. Aiken specializes in: General Brokerage with an emphasis in Investment Sales and the repositioning and dispostion of Distressed Assets. 

Mr. Aiken is the managing partner of Aiken Real Estate, LP, an Atlanta based development firm that owns, manages, and leases approximately 250,000 SF of retail, office, and office warehouse space in the North Atlanta market.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

Mr. Aiken entered the Real Estate business in 1987 as an Industrial Broker with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Aiken developed a career in commercial real estate that has included representing major corporations in the acquision and disposition of office and industrial properties, and developing, managing, and leasing business parks, office buildings, and retail centers.

In 1993, Mr. Aiken was awarded "Young Commercial Realtor of the Year" by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.  In that same year, Mr. Aiken co-founded The Western Group, a commercial real estate consulting firm based in Moscow, Russia.  The Western Group later became the Colliers International Group for the former Soviet Union. 

As part of Colliers International, Mr. Aiken exclusively represented world 2000 companies such as Hughes Aircraft, Nestle, Wrigley's, Price Waterhouse, Colgate Palmolive, among others where he provided tenant representation, acquisition and site selection services throughout the former Soviet Union.

In 1999, Mr. Aiken returned to Atlanta, GA and formed The Aiken Company to provide Development, Property Management, Leasing and Brokerage Services.  Since then, Mr. Aiken has been activie in the development, leasing and management of several retail, office, and industrial properties in the Northeast Atlanta market. 

In 2009, Mr. Aiken joined KW Commercial Atlanta Partners as a Director at their Duluth GA. (NE Atlanta) office.  In 2010, Mr. Aiken was selected to the prestigous national KW Comercial  Leadership Council (CLC). 

Mr. Aiken is currently active in the following organizations:  CCIM, IREM, NAR, GRA, Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, and the Hall County Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Aiken lives in Gwinnett County Georgia with his wife, Maryellen, and their four children.  He is an active member of North Point Community Church, volunteers at Greater Atlanta Christian School and Peachtree Ridge Youth Athletic Association, and is a member of Sugarloaf Country Club.
