Bio:

Greg C. Banta graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in accounting in 1985. Upon graduating college Greg began working for State Federal Savings and Loan as an accountant in their real estate department. At the time of his departure in 1991, Greg was in charge of a real estate portfolio valued at approximately $100 million. Greg left State Federal and relocated to Oklahoma City to become Regional Manager for the Rooney Company, a Tulsa based commercial real estate firm. After working for the Rooney Company for three years, the company merged with Insignia Commercial Group where he held positions of Director of Property Management and Director of Leasing and Brokerage and was in charge of new business development.


Greg went out on his own in 1997 by forming Banta Realty Advisors, Inc. The company steadily expanded the services that it offered and soon became part of The Banta Companies. The Banta Companies through its various entities offered commercial property management, leasing and brokerage services and project management. The company also was involved in development and redevelopment, construction management services and asset management. 

 

In 2009, Greg joined KW Commercial, the commercial division of Keller Williams, an international real estate firm. At KW Commercial, Greg is focusing his attention on leasing and brokerage assignments and has an inventory of over $40 million in property for sale or lease.   

 

Greg has served on the board of directors of numerous organizations including the Oklahoma City Building Owners and Managers Association, the Oklahoma City Commercial Real Estate Council, Midtown Redevelopment Authority, Oklahoma City Automobile Alley, The Medical District Board, Downtown Oklahoma City, Inc. and the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation. He has also served in an advisory role for several Oklahoma City projects and has also served a term as Mayor of the City of Piedmont.

 

During his career Greg has been involved in over $165,000,000 in brokerage transactions. In the past five years Greg oversaw the development or redevelopment of over 1 million square feet of space which included single tenant and multi-tenant office, single tenant and multi-tenant retail, restaurant and multi-tenant residential.
