Joe Sosky came to KW Commercial in November 2008 to launch the Vancouver Keller Williams’ Commercial Division. Since that time, Joe has been the Managing Director of KW Commercial Vancouver; the division has grown from 2 to 10 specialized agents. Joe and KW Commercial are committed to continuing education and specialization in commercial real estate. Under Joe’s guidance and support the KW Commercial Vancouver group is flourishing into an office of well equipped agents, each focusing on at least one area of expertise in the commercial market. Joe also serves on the 2010 KW Commercial CLC (Commercial Leadership Council).
Joe started his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial in July 2002 after serving 27 years in public education. Joe has been recognized on several occasions by the Coldwell Banker Commercial corporate office as a “heavy hitter”, having negotiated several million dollar transactions in Multi-Family and Retail.
Joe assumed a leadership role as a Board Member of CAR (Commercial Association of Realtors) from 2003 to 2009 and continues to serve on the CAR Forms Committee, which develops commercial forms as required and reviews current forms to ensure compliance with real estate law and practice, is a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), and is a CCIM Candidate (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and has completed the necessary courses as a CCIM Candidate. Joe is an Associate Broker specializing in acquisition/disposition of net leased investment properties, developer of NNN leased properties, Tenant in Common transactions, Triple Net Investment Sales, Multi Family, 1031 Exchanges and Pre-Arranged Financing. Joe is also a member of Cascadia Region Green Buildings Council.
Joe holds a Master’s Degree in Public School Administration, having served 13 years as a Principal in the Camas School District and was selected as a State Finalist as Principal of the Year for the State of Washington. He also coached two state championship football teams. Civic awareness in mind, he has founded and served on numerous scholarship committees, is a Rotarian and recently served as the President of the Camas/Washougal Rotary Club, Past Board Member for the Jack, Will and Rob Boys & Girls Club in Camas, Daybreak Inpatient Teen Drug & Alcohol Abuse Center and SWIFT (Southwest Washington Independent Forward Thrust) member.
