Winston has practised commercial real estate in the National Capital area for over thirty years as a broker, developer and sales manager.

Winston achieved his Ontario Real Estate Brokerage license through  the  Association of Colleges  of Applied Arts and Technology  of the Provence of Ontario .                                                                                            .                                                                            . He also obtained a Certificate in the Marketing of Real Estate (CMR) and in 1987 became a CCIM.

The “CCIM” designation is considered to be the most prestigious accreditation in commercial real estate. It is earned through intensive courses, which include real estate analysis, taxation and property development. In addition the designee must meet the Commercial - Investment Real Estate Council’s rigid standards for successful applied experience in commercial – investment real estate sales.

In the mid-eighties and in to the early nineties  Winston was a joint venture partner with Financial Trustco Properties Inc. and Sagebrook Developments Ltd where he was in charge of the Eastern Region and as such responsible for the development of an extensive industrial land and building portfolio as well as work outs on troubled properties.

At present Winston is the Managing Director of Keller Williams Ottawa Realty’s Commercial division and Canada’s representative on Keller Williams International Commercial Leadership Council.  KW Commercial is the commercial real estate arm of Keller Williams  Realty Inc. a real estate franchise company  with over 76000 Residential and 1300 plus Commercial Real Estate  Agents  operating in 650 Market Centers across Canada and the USA.
